Our Mission
Mission: Dental Implants focuses on rebuilding smiles and replacing missing or failing teeth through implant surgery, extractions, bone grafting, dentures and prosthetic treatment. Patients receive a clear treatment plan and understand the expected cost before deciding how to proceed.
Our Vision
Make implant and tooth-replacement treatment easier to understand, more accessible and deliberately affordable.

Dr. Edward Shamieh, DDS
Fourteen years in practice, now focused on implant surgery, prosthetics, complex extractions and selected sedation cases.
Mission: Dental Implants was intentionally built as a focused practice. Dr. Shamieh handles the surgical and prosthetic portions of treatment, coordinates with referring dentists when applicable, and returns patients to their general dentist for ongoing preventive and routine dental care.
Patients who do not already have a general dentist can also be helped in finding one for their ongoing care.
How Treatment Works
Digital scanning and careful treatment planning allow the surgical and prosthetic parts of treatment to be coordinated when appropriate. If you were referred by another dentist, we keep that office informed throughout treatment.
Consult and Imaging
We evaluate the area, obtain the imaging and digital records needed, and discuss your treatment options. Before proceeding, you will understand the proposed treatment, sequence and expected cost.
Surgery
When appropriate, extractions, bone grafting and implant placement may be coordinated during the same surgical appointment.
Prosthetic Treatment
Digital records are used to plan and design the prosthetic portion of treatment. When an immediate denture is planned, it is made in advance and can be delivered on the day the teeth are removed.
Back to your dentist
After the surgical and prosthetic treatment is completed, routine examinations, cleanings and ongoing general dental care return to your general dentist.
Wisdom Tooth Removal With Sedation
Mission: Dental Implants is an approved provider for Kansas Medicaid (KanCare, billed through KMAP) and Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet). Coverage and eligibility vary by patient and are verified before treatment is scheduled.
